Internet Options for Distance Learning

Kilmer is trying to do everything we can to support and assist families with no Internet at home. School District 21 has extended our WiFi coverage to all our parking lots. You can drive up and connect chromebooks to our wifi to access daily lessons and download materials to work at home. For access at home, Comcast Internet Essentials is available to qualifying families They are working to escalate and assist families’ registration for this program. In addition, Comcast has opened free access to its public and business WiFi hotspots nationwide. If home internet or connecting to WiFi at a CCSD21 property is not an option, a hotspot can be found on this map. When in range of the hotspot, “xfinitywifi” will show as an available network to be connected to.
