Kilmer partners with Salata for fundraiser

Salata Restaurant at Lake Cook Road and Lexington Drive in Wheeling is generously partnering with CCSD21 throughout the month of October — 15% of all sales during the month will be donated to the District’s Katie Samsel Fund!

The function of the Katie Samsel Fund has varied, from providing eyeglasses to students in need, to helping families that were displaced from their homes due to fire or flood. The fund affords flexibility to meet student and family needs in the most appropriate way and at the most appropriate time.

Each District 21 school also has an assigned Salata day. Proceeds on each school’s day will be shared between the school and the Katie Samsel Fund. Kilmer’s day is Friday, October 6th — be sure to visit Salata on Friday, October 6th and throughout the month of October and mention “School District 21” at the counter when you pay!
