Librarians and Teachers are looking for loaned books

As we began remote instruction in March, and throughout 2020, we sent home books with students to ensure they could continue engaging with rich literacy even while away from school. You may find books at your home from the school’s library or from a classroom collection. Here are some marks you can look for to identify books from the school:

The teacher’s name written on the cover, spine, or inside cover of the book
The school’s name written or stamped on the outer or inner cover of the book
A school barcode sticker or label on the book

Please help us by looking for school books that may be in your home and return them to school. You can return any CCSD21 book to any CCSD21 school – even if your child is attending a different school this year than last. We will make sure they get to the right place. In the coming weeks, more information will be shared on steps for students to continue checking out LMC books during the remainder of the year.
