STEAM Night a big success!

Students, parents, and staff members braved the cold last night to participate in the 2nd annual STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) Night. The Kilmer PTO and Kilmer staff members worked together to organize and run the event which included activities and food. Students and parents worked together to complete a wide range of activities including making ice cream, x-rays, stress balls, slime, paper spinners, water filters, sharpie filter art, and duct tape wallets, to coding necklaces and ozobots, and testing out cork bottle rockets and light up tables. Harper College got involved by bringing their coding van to the school and families were able to board and explore those activities. Their were even opportunities to buy raffle tickets to win prizes courtesy of Kilmer PTO and Harper College.
