Students excited about upcoming Cooper Run

In 5th grade, students have the opportunity to take part in the Cooper Run. This is a chance for the 5th grade students to experience what Cross Country is as they prepare to go to middle school next year. The Cooper Run is a mile run that will take place at Cooper Middle School. All three feeder schools will run the mile at Cooper in the format of a cross country race. This year, the race will take place on October 5th at 4:00. There will be a girls and a boys race. All students are encouraged to experience the event. Students will walk over to Cooper from Kilmer amid cheering from the Kilmer community. Participants are to wear a Kilmer shirt if possible, gym shoes, and running attire.

Forms are available to notify the school if your student will be picked up by a parent/guardian or if they will walk home from Cooper Middle School at the end of the race.
