Enrichment

Our goal is to present our students with real problems that affect our school and community so that they can find possible solutions through research and discovery.

Students of the Week

Each week Kilmer selects students of the week who demonstrate and exceed as self-directed learners, quality producers, collaborative workers, and respectful responsible citizens.

Clubs and Groups

Student Council

Student Council exists for students to become involved in the affairs of the school, working in partnership with school management, staff and parents for the benefit of the school and its students.

Chorus

Chorus is an elective fifth grade student singing group. During this activity, fifth grade students will be singing with other children a varied repertoire of music while gaining musical independence. Students will also perform at various events during the school year.

Student Safety Patrol

Patrol is to ensure students are safe and responsible while entering and exiting the hallways, washrooms and lunchroom at Kilmer.

Intramurals

Recreational sports organized and held at Kilmer to support student physical fitness, health, and happiness.

Make a Difference Club

The goals of the club would be to teach children to give back to the community and to participate in activities that make them feel good about helping others.

Battle of the Books

4th and 5th grade students participate in a “game-show” like contest. Students answer questions from various books read by the teachers.

Art Club

Art club provides students various opportunities to learn and explore creative methods of art and design.

Pep Squad

Pep squad is a extra curricular group composed of fifth graders who perform pom/dance routines at the all-school spirit assemblies.

PTO Sponsored

Kilmer’s PTO sponsors several events over the course of the school year. Each event may reoccur, please check either the PTO website or our school calendar.
