Kilmer collecting books for Bernie's Book Bank 4/15 - 5/15

The second grade team is collecting books for Bernie’s Book Bank. This organization provides quality books for at- risk children in the Chicagoland area. They are collecting new or gently used children’s books to increase the book ownership among at-risk infants, toddlers, and school age children. The books will be distributed by the organization to the families in need.

Our goal is to raise awareness and increase global citizenship amongst our students. Please encourage your students to bring in any books to donate. The collection will be held 4/15/19 to 5/15/19. There will also be a collection bin in the office for parents to drop off books directly.
